Question: Any idea what brings Billy Baldwin back to Gossip Girl? Also, when does he return? —Jess
Ausiello: Serena’s dad resurfaces in Episode 7, but we’ll quickly learn his tentacles have been stirring one particular pot all season long.

Question: Do you have any scoop on next week’s episode of Gossip Girl? –Danielle
Ausiello: Three scoops, actually. 1) Unless the censors at The CW get cold feet at the last minute, Georgina says something to Dan that includes the words “raw” and “hard.” 2) Serena is a closet Millionaire Matchmaker addict. 3) Jenny gets a shout-out (kinda).

Question: Will Chuck and Blair get married in the Gossip Girlseries finale? —Annie
Ausiello: Don’t know. I will say that one of them will fail to accomplish an important item on their pre-engagement to-do list, potentially rendering their little agreement null and void.

Ausiello: That trailer pointing to a reconciliation for the star-crossed Upper East Siders “is not misleading,” confirms exec producer Stephanie Savage, who teases that “things get pretty steamy” between them in their hotel room in Monte Carlo. “But the stakes are really high. They can’t rush into anything or do anything half-baked.”

Question: Will Gossip Girl‘s premiere jump ahead a few months? Or will it pick up right where the finale left off? —Sandy

Ausiello: The answer to both questions is yes. The opener picks up where May’s cliffhanger left off as a means to quickly “check in with all of the characters,” explains exec producer Stephanie Savage. “And then we jump ahead four months to present day.”

Question: Do you remember something called Gossip Girl? How ’bout a spoiler? —Evelina
Ausiello: How ’bout a brain-teaser? When the season starts up, Dan is spending some QT far, far away from the Big Apple with a certain brunette Georgina. Chuck and Blair, meanwhile, are in a, um, better place. Yeah, let’s go with that.

Question: Please tell me the infamous video doesn’t sink Dan and Blair before they even get out of the harbor on Gossip Girl. That would be a lot of buildup with very little payoff. Say Dair isn’t DOA. –Leif
Ausiello: Dair is not DOA. In fact, they’ll be going strong long enough to encounter a brand new obstacle, one that is unrelated to (and potentially much more problematic than) the video. Guesses?! Hit the comments!

Question: What’s coming up for Serena on Gossip Girl? Hopefully something other than pining over D-Bag Humphrey! —@SB_Besties via Twitter
Ausiello: There’s something big brewing for S this spring, but it’s more professional than personal (though the latter will be impacted by the former, and vice versa).

Question: Now that they shared that amazing kiss, where’s Dan and Blair’s Gossip Girl story going ? —Ivana
Ausiello: If the previews for next week’s episode weren’t clear enough, allow me to spell it out for you: D-A-I-R I-S O-N. Beyond that, all I can say is if Chuck is looking for a way to hit Dan where it hurts, he’s currently bedding the right woman.

Question: Please tell me something about Ivy’s return to Gossip Girl. —Victor

Ausiello: The little interloper is about to become a force to reckon with on the Upper East Side in a way that no one could’ve predicted.

Question: Will you marry me Ausiello? We can watch Gossip Girl and hope for Dair together. In the meantime, what can you tell us about the Valentine’s episode? —Alice

Ausiello: Dan finally opens his heart in next week’s Valentine’s-themed episode, and Blair has a surprising reaction to his catharsis. Or not, if you’ve seen the photos floating around. Oh, and there’s a significant death coming up later in the season. (That’s what we journalists call “burying the lede.”) As for your proposal, my answer is… well, that’s one secret I’ll never tell.

Gossip Girl‘s runaway princess bride has landed!

We’ve got your exclusive first look at next week’s episode of the CW sudser, which picks up right where Monday’s 100th installment left off — with Dan chauffeuring a newly-married Blair away from her wedding reception from hell. Where did he take her? To the airport, of course!

As executive producer Josh Safran previously teased, the on-location shoot “was a really complicated, but super fun, big, great set piece” that yields “some of the best comedy we’ve ever done. [It’s] very funny.”

A few quick takeaways from the gallery below: The princess and her pauper face an uphill battle reaching their final destination, Blair must really be in a bad place if she’s augmenting her wardrobe at an airport gift shop, and this episode is already well on its way to being our favorite GG hour of the season.

Check out the gallery below and then hit the comments with your thoughts on Blair’s honeymoon at the (apologies in advance) Dairport.
