Francesca: Dying for some info on the end of Gossip Girl! Will there be any flashbacks? Flash-forwards?

There will be a flash-sideways where they all meet up in a church to send Jack off to heaven. No. Wait. That was Lost. Jokes! In all seriousness, a source just dropped this scoop: The Gossip Girl finale is two parts: 609 ends with a cliffhanger, then 610.  Over the two episodes, there is a dream sequence, a flashback and a flash-forward—maybe more than one of each. Buckle up, GG fans! The ending is going to have more than a few surprises.

Darcy: There are so many rumors about the Gossip Girl finale going around! Care to share any scoop on what’s really going down?

We totally would…if we could get anyone to actually talk about it. “There’s so many spoilers out there right now that I really feel like I Can’t talk about it!” Stephanie Savage tells us, though she confirms that there are either flashbacks or flash-forwards in the final hour. As for Josh Schwartz, his lips were also sealed (“There’s a lot that’s already out there unfortunately, and I will leave it at that!”) but did tell us that the show did take steps to throw people (including the pesky paparazzi) off. Translation: Don’t believe everything you hear and see!

MonicaHue: Please tell me it’s true that Chuck and Blair will get married!

Pump those brakes! Can’t dish on anything that far out yet (the series finale is crazy top secret, despite all the recent photos leaking, which may or may not be red herrings) but we can tell you that you Chuck and Blair fans best prepare for some heartache in episode seven. We’re hearing C and B are in very different places in their lives and it doesn’t bode well for them at that point.

Wrightst3: Do Chuck and Blair have a lot of interaction in 602?

The Gossip Girl fan favorite couple doesn’t spend too much time together in the second episode of the final season, as Blair’s busy trying to run her mom’s company and Chuck is off dealing with the worst father ever, but they do share one scene. Fans will be happy to know that the one scene does solidify how serious the two are about each other…and how much they’ve grown.

Six seasons. Five friends. One show.

We were just sophomores in college when Gossip Girl debuted and inserted us into the lives of Manhattan’s elite: reformed party girl Serena (Blake Lively), her straitlaced queen-bee best friend Blair (Leighton Meester), the “perfect boyfriend” Nate (Chace Crawford), bad-boy Chuck (Ed Westwick) and outsider Dan (Penn Badgley).

The CW hit, which became a huge pop culture sensation, is coming to an end this fall, airing its final 10 episodes. In between sniffs and sobs, we compiled a rundown of everything you need to know about the Upper East Side before the final season premieres and what you can expect from season six…

WHAT WE LEARNED

Blair Is All In: Blair’s diary exposes one of her biggest fears: Can she ever love Dan, or anyone really, as much as she loves Chuck? We learn the answer by episode’s end: No. When she goes to tell him that he’s the one, Chuck spurns her because he’s just lost control of his company to his back-from-the dead father, Bart (Robert John Burke). Still, Blair tracks him down to Monte Carlo, where she tells him she’s all in. Aww!

Because Blair chose Chuck (and didn’t even bother to tell Dan in person, ouch!), Dan decides it’s time to drop the nice-guy act and finally go after him. It’s like revenge of the nerds, except if the nerd was part of the inner circle for five years but pretended to be above it. His partner in crime? Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg)!

Serena’s Off the Rails: After losing Dan to Blair and basically having no goals in life, it’s not hard to understand why Serena is feeling pretty lost. What is hard to understand is how far she went to destroy Blair’s happiness: manipulating Dan into thinking it was over between them (well, it was) and recording their hookup. The last we see of her in season five, she’s on a train taking drugs from a random dude and letting him fondle her. Woe is S, y’all!

Rufly Is No More: In what we considered one of the show’s most shocking twists, Lily (Kelly Rutherford) ended things with Rufus (Matthew Settle)—the two have been together since season two—and decided to get back together with her not-so-dead husband Bart, aka the emotionless robot.

Nate…: exists? Just kidding, he got a tape that apparently drops a hint as to who Gossip Girl really is.

WHAT LIES AHEAD

Chair Is Endgame: Um, duh? The duo will share a supersexy scene in a hotel room in Monte Carlo but will make a pact to focus on their individual needs first, so when they do officially get back together, nothing will stand in their way. However, we’re hearing Chuck’s ongoing battle with his father will affect his relationships with Blair and Lily.

Dan Gets Dark: No, Lonely Boy won’t be changing his vengeance tune from the finale in the beginning of season six. “He’s actually going down a dark path finally, but in a real way,” Penn Badgley tells us. ”I mean, I think he’s dabbled in the dark before, but you’re like, ‘Dude, that’s not that dark. You don’t know what dark is.’ It seems like he might be going there a little bit, but it’s good.” So just how dark is Dan going in this final season? While he couldn’t reveal too much, Penn teases, “I think he might be betraying people in a profound way that he’s never had the balls to or the lack of heart to.”

Back to Basics: At its core, Gossip Girl is really all about the friendship between Blair and Serena, even if it was ripped apart at the end of season five. We’re hearing that the producers really want to bring their friendship back ”front and center, just like in season one.” So expect a lot of juicy S&B drama in the show’s home stretch.

Isabella: What’s coming up for Dan this year on Gossip Girl?
Dan is going to the dark side! “He’s actually going down a dark path finally, but in a real way,” Penn Badgley told E!’s Marc Malkin at the Toronto International Film Festival. “I mean, I think he’s dabbled in the dark before, but you’re like, ‘Dude, that’s not that dark. You don’t know what dark is.’ It seems like he might be going there a little bit, but it’s good.” So just how dark is Dan going in this final season? While he couldn’t reveal too much, Penn teases, “I think he might be betraying people in a profound way that he’s never had the balls to or the lack of heart to.” Yikes!

Sadie: Any GG scoop about Blair that doesn’t have to do with her love life?
Blair is currently on her way to being that powerful woman she’s always wanted to be! “She is now focusing on her career,” Leighton Meester tells us. “She’s taking care of her mom’s business, so that’s kind of cool!” More like way cool!

Cosmic_Love: Can we expect an explosive Chuck and Blair reunion in the premiere after spending their summers apart? #GG
In a word: HELL YES. Sorry, was that two? I can tell you that the premiere will pick up with Chuck and Blair in a Monte Carlo Hotel Room. It will definitely be explosive and lots will be revealed. Just making sure you all caught that: Hotel. Room. Chuck. And. Blair. Does this make you tingle in all the right places, Chair fans?

puking_unicorn: Any scoop on the father-son relationship between Bart and Chuck Bass on Gossip Girl? Is Bart still the cold hearted monster?
Chuck will most definitely be at war with his father in the final season, and it will start to affect the women he loves the most: Lily and (sorry to be the bearer of less-than-stellar news, Chair fans) Blair.

Lynette: I’ll take anything you got on next season of Gossip Girl. Is there hope for Chuck and Blair?

That’s the first time we’ve heard that question. Oh, we kid because we love! After all, we asked the exact same thing to Leighton Meester recently. “Who knows? But probably,” she laughed to us. “I think you can imagine that happening for sure. I have ways that I hope it will end, but I don’t want to get anybody else’s hopes up.” But before Chuck and Blair can find forever love with each other, Meester hopes for some Gossip Girl madness. “I hope that a lot of crazy stuff happens. I’m ready for it.” As are we.

Cruel, cruel fakeout, Gossip Girl.

Turns out, G.G.’s mother of a twist from last week was all a lie! Elizabeth Hurley’s Diana Payne isn’t Chuck’s (Ed Westwick) birth mother, y’all! So then who is? Well…it’s complicated. Also complicated? The Van der Woodsen’s family lineage, thanks to William’s (Billy Baldwin) cheating ways.

In addition to all of the family drama, Dan (Penn Badgley) and Blair’s (Leighton Meester) relationship was tested in a major way. Plus, who’s the new wicked witch of the Upper East Side?

It’s All in the Family: Offscreen, the judge revoked Cece’s will, meaning Ivy (Kaylee Defer) has lost all the money, thanks to testimony from a nurse saying the fake Charlie took advantage of her. After being questioned about her rocky marriage by reporters, Lily decides to throw a family dinner and invites a member of the press to help repair the family’s image. Because yeah, those events always go so well on G.G., right? Serena calls daddy Van Der Woodsen and invites him to the dinner, but he bails saying he’s out of town. However, thanks to a tip sent in to Gossip Girl, Serena learns that her father is busy spending time with another blonde: her cousin Lola (Ella Rae Peck), who just happens to also be his daughter.

Yes, Serena learns she has a half-sister, thanks to the always and adorably oblivious Nate (Chace Crawford), from whom Lola seeks comfort/counsel after learning the truth. Serena goes to her mother with the news and agrees to keep quiet about the family bombshell until after the all-important dinner. Lily, however, decides to partner with Ivy in order to make sure her husband-stealin’ sister ends up with nothing. Way harsh, Tai!

Wait, it gets harsher! Lily reports her sister to the police for fraud and Ivy, since she gave her statement, gets off scot-free. Lily, youz a b-tch…and we love it. (What we don’t love is you treating Rufus like your pet.) So how did all of this baby-addy drama end? William is planning on screwing over Lily, while Lola may just be on her way to being the next Gossip Girl after Serena brutally rebuffs her offer of teaming up against their parents. Yes, this all really happened.

Sleeping With the Enemy: After learning last week that Diana is Chuck’s mother, Nate is feeling a little conflicted about working with her. Turns out he’s not really the “sleep with your best friend’s mother” kind of a guy. Nate wants to find some funding to buy Diana out of the Spectator for good and decides the best way to go about it is by seducing her investor. Guess who her investor turns out to be? You’ll never guess…Jack Bass (Desmond Harrington)!

After sleeping with Diana to hide the fact that he was snooping around in her room, Nate steals Diana’s planner and contacts Elizabeth, who reveals to Nate that she is Chuck’s mother and has the picture to prove it! What the picture also proves? That Jack Bass is most likely Chuck’s real father. Reason No. 123 you should never get a hideous tattoo on your arm, kiddos!

Blair Is Back!: After being called lowbrow in New York Magazine because she was married for less time than Kim Kardashian (harsh, but true!), Blair is dead set on becoming despicably highbrow. Blair figures the best way to go about this is by hijacking all of the attention at a party held in Dan’s honor. Obviously, this doesn’t work out too well, and when confronted by Dan, Blair admits, “I don’t want to live in someone else’s shadow anymore.” After being with Chuck and Prince Louis (Hugo Becker), Blair is sick of being behind the scenes in her relationships. ”If you could only see what I see,” Dan tells her sadly before walking away. Later, Blair visits the loft to talk to Dan. “I lost my true self, but I want to be found. Could you possibly help?” she asks, before Dan lists everything that’s wonderful about her. Yes, it is adorable.

Georgumphrey in the Finale: Many of you have written into us asking for scoop on the alleged Dan-Georgina scene in the finale after Badgley and Michelle Trachtenberg were spotted on set. Well, we can tell you that, according to our sources, there actually is no Dan and Georgina scene in the finale. Yay or nay?

Dair in Danger: While Dan and Blair end the episode on a happy note, trouble is ahead for the new couple. As we previously reported, something will attempt to come in between Dan and Blair, and despite the Chuck and Blair-centric promo, it’s not Mr. Bass. Hm…what could it be? Perhaps one person’s inability to say three little words?

Serena Scoop: The blonde will pose as her BFF Blair in an upcoming episode when B is unable to make a meeting as she has somewhere else to be. Also on the horizon for S? A new love interest…or two!
