Gossip Girl Wedding Video: Here Comes the Blair! Our First Look at the 100th Episode

Move over, William and Kate! There’s a new royal wedding in town, and this one has loads of behind-the-scenes drama and a hotly contested love triangle…no, make that love rhombus, with very pointy edges.

We have the exclusive first-look video of Gossip Girl’s highly anticipated 100th episode, airing this Monday on the CW, in which Blair (Leighton Meester) is set to marry Prince Louis (Hugo Becker).

So will she go through with it? See for yourself…

In our sneak-peek video, you can see that Blair does indeed walk down the aisle to her prince, even though we all know Louis is about as close to being her soul mate as a bucket of sludge. (Sorry, Prince!)

We also can see that Blair certainly looks all glowy and euphoric as she’s walking arm-in-arm between her father and stepfather. (Also important to point out: Everyone looks ah-maz-ingly gorgeous. Two giant snaps up to Gossip Girl’s wardrobe department!) And what’s this Serena (Blake Lively) is saying about doing something “bad?” Ruh-roh. With Georgina (Michele Trachtenberg) around, that can’t be good.

So what happens next? You’ll have to watch this Monday on the CW to see. But our bet (hope?) is that Blair won’t say “I do.” Maybe she’ll pull a Ross and say the wrong name? Or a Julia Roberts and run for the hills via horseback? Or a Kelly Taylor and choose “me”?

Whatever goes down, and whether Blair ends up with Chuck or Dan or Louis or no one, it’s sure to be an epic episode for fans.

French actor Hugo Becker, who plays Louis Grimaldi on “Gossip Girl,” hinted his character may yet have some mileage in him. “I’m not totally allowed to say anything about this. I will tell you that I finished shooting last December, but I’m not saying I finished shooting everything,” he teased.

So what IS the title? “THE BACKUP DAN.”

If you’ll remember the film, The Backup PLAN (starring J-Lo) was a rom-com centering around a woman who conceives twins through artificial insemination, only to meet the man of her dreams on the very same day.

What does this mean in GG speak? WILL Blair marry Louis only to realize (too late) that Dan has feelings for her, and that she reciprocates those feelings? The fact that The CW has yet to release episode details is making our tongues wag even more. What are YOUR thoughts, Dair ‘shippers? Want to help us decode the title?

How better to commemorate Gossip Girl‘s 100th episode than with a musical dream sequence? For the milestone event (airing Jan. 30), the CW series stepped it up from Blair’s Audrey-fueled fantasies to have Serena channel Marilyn Monroe’s moves à la “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend.”

In addition to the blonde, all the guys on the show — Chuck, Dan, Nate and even Louis — join in on “the dance number, and it’s really, really cool,” Ed Westwick tell us. “We had a lot of fun doing it.

“It was really nice for us because we never do anything like that,” he continues. “I felt like I was on Glee for a minute.”

Meanwhile, Serena’s looking back at her past relationships and having some anxiety, teased executive producer Josh Safran, so it’s no surprise she’s dreaming of Blair’s Audrey stealing her man, Dan.

Here comes the conflicted bride!

With Gossip Girl’s epic 100th episode just around the corner, the CW is giving fans an early wedding gift: photos from the big day…including Blair (Leighton Meester) standing at the altar with Prince Louis (Hugo Becker). Yes, that’s right. Queen B does make it all the way to the altar. Apologies to those who just lost their office betting pool with that reveal. 

So does Chuck (Ed Westwick) actually make it to the royal wedding? Plus, who’s walking down the aisle with Dan (Penn Badgley)?!

Don’t worry, Chair fans, Chuck makes it to the wedding. Or at least shows up to have a very serious chat with the love of his life before what is supposed to be the biggest moment of her life. Could Chuck be making one final attempt to win Blair back from Prince Louis, or is he finally saying goodbye to any chance of a happy romantic ending with her? The possibilities are endless, and we can’t wait to find out what’s going on between the two in the scene. 

As for the Dan, the man who’s unrequitedly in love with the bride, he’s busy walking her best friend (and maid of honor) and his former ex-grirlfriend Serena (Blake Lively) down the aisle! That could be awkward! Speaking of awkward Serena-and-Dan shenanigans, the twosome will pretend to be dating in the show’s midseason return on Jan. 23 in order to protect someone close to them. Very intriguing. Could it possibly be a ploy concocted by Serena to have Dan fall in love with her again? We shall see…

Gossip Girl returns Monday, Jan. 16 at 8 p.m. on the CW.
