New Gossip Girl Writers: Matt Whitney

Has worked on shows such as Greek, Chuck, Human Target, and Crossing Jordan.

The latest addition to GG Writers staff is …. Natalie Krinsky! She is the author of “Chloe does Yale” and a featured author of Daily Yale News.

Q: Is this the Yale sex columnist ala Carrie Bradshaw or does she hail fro Grey’s Anatomy & 90210?

A: Both!

New Gossip Girl Writers: Austin Winsberg

Austin Winsberg, of shows such as Glory Days and Jake in Progress, will be joining Gossip Girl’s writing staff in Season 5. His first show, running for a short period of time in 2002, was about a writer who returns home to find the people he used to know are displeased with the way he portrayed them. Meanwhile, Jake in Progress was about a veteran womanizer (John Stamos) who tries to change his ways when he meets Kylie (Duchess Catherine Beaton!).

Sounds like these two plots could possibly be used on Gossip Girl, huh? Or possibly have already been used. Here’s hoping that Mr. Winsberg can bring a fresh take on them!
