Set report last night (October 12th)

So, my friend Daniela and I had class at the Whitney today so we decided to go to set before and when we were finished.

We were walking to set and Penn was walking down the street towards us so we were like “Hi Penn” and he said hi back, but then as soon as he walked away I looked at Daniela and was like “ahahah I hate him so much!!” lol

Then we met Amanda in front of The Met and they weren’t doing much. We saw mini Blair and Serena, Chace and Sophia. We decided to go see the trailers after a while. We were waiting by them and we saw that someone was in the hair and makeup one. We waited for them to come out when we saw that it was Kaite Cassidy! She and Desmond Harrington (Uncle Jack) walked to set and we followed them. Then we saw Michelle and Blake got there too and they all rehearsed. Then, we saw that Blake was going to her trailer to get into her costume and so we ran and started walking in front of her. We got to the street before her and moved to the side. We moved to the side and she walked right in front of us and I was like “Hi Blake!” and she was like “Hi, how are you?”

And somewhere in between we were walking down the street the trailers were on and Penn was walking towards us with the security guard that I’ve seen when I met Leighton the past two times (the one that like, recognizes me now lol) and I tried to say hi to him (I didn’t even notice Penn was there lol) but Penn thought I was talking to him so he said hi and once he walked away I said to Amanda and Daniela “I wasn’t trying to say hi to you!” lol it was so funny! I hate him so much!

All of the scenes they filmed on The Met steps were:

1. Sage hands Nate this manilla envelope and he walked down the steps, listens in to whatever mini Blair and Serena are saying then they walk away (I also think he talked to them at one point but I forget)

2. Serena, Nate, Dan, Georgina, and Jack walk up the steps

3. Juliet was looking at her phone then walking down the street

Then we waited by Blake’s trailer. All of these dumb school girls were on their lunch break and so they found out they were filming and Penn was smoking so he was outside of his trailer, and they saw him and started freaking out. We were waiting for Blake to come out but she was taking so long so we decided to go back to see them film again. We got bored of watching Katie walk over and over again so we went to this other location that Amanda found to see what the signs said and then Daniela and I went to the Whitney and Amanda went to Starbucks to charge her phone.

When we were done, Daniela and I met back up with Amanda and we went back to The Met but they were cleaning up so we just waited near the trailers. We saw Chace and Michelle leave (and Desmond left too but we didn’t see him leave). We walked back to the other location and then went into Central Park to look for them filming in there. We eventually found it and we saw Leighton and Blake (and also Penn) filming a scene on this bridge.

Leighton was wearing a wedding dress that was lace-y and embroidered and just SOOO pretty! And her hair was in the gorgeous updo with a beautiful floral-y headband.

The scene was like this:

- Blair and Serena were on this bridge and Penn was waiting at the bottom of the steps holding the bouquet of peonies

- it looked like Blair had some sort of problem and was having a heart-to-heart with Serena (and Dan was probably just tagging along with Serena, I didn’t see him do anything except stand at the bottom of the steps holding the flowers)

After watching that we went back to the trailers but didn’t see anything so we went back to the other location (which was 10 blocks away). Basically, after that it was basically A LOT of walking. We walked those 10 blocks like 2359734857 times! Ugh! It was so annoying. We never saw anyone in the trailers (I was hoping to see Leighton again) but one of the other times when we walked back, we saw them drive the trailers away so we thought they were going to park them at the other location. So we started walking to the other one and were just like “Omg were actually following the trailers now. We took this stalking the set thing to a whole new level!” lol When we got to the other location, there were no trailers. We went to go see what was going on on the next block but there was nothing there. We sat down for a few minutes then when we walked back, there were no cones and they took down the signs so I guess they decided they didn’t need to, or just couldn’t, film there tonight.

Then we decided to leave and that’s basically it :)

Ok, so I got to The Empire around 4ish and I walked by and saw Chace and Leighton’s trailer. I saw that they were in there but no one was coming out so I decided to go see them film. They were filming in front of The Empire but they weren’t really doing anything so after a while I decided to go back to the trailers (they were the only trailers there) and I saw Leighton get out! So I just saw her standing there so I walked closer to her and I said “Hi leighton!” And I was the only one around so she just turned around and looked at me and gave me the most sweetest genuine smile! Like, she is one of the most sweetest people ever! (And I should have asked for a picture but I was afraid they were just going to say no because she had to get to set so I didn’t but I should have and I was stupid but maybe next time). So then I followed her to set and I watched her and Chace film a scene

The scene went like this (and I was watching it on the monitor too lol):
Blair is sitting on a bench across the street from the hotel (she looks kind of down or something)

Nate comes and sits down next to her and they talk for a while

Then it looks like he made her realize something and she just perks up and quickly gets up and leaves (like she pats him on the shoulder and leaves)

(I have a feeling it’s about Chuck and maybe Nate gets Blair to realize something about Chuck… idk)

So then they finished filming from that angle and I left but I finally found Amanda and we talked for a while while they were filming from a different angle and they it looked like they were cleaning up so we decided to go to the trailer. We saw there was a security guard in front so we knew they were in there and then we see a bunch of people surrounding Chace so we went over and got a picture with him! And we almost got one with Leighton but as everyone was around Chace she quickly ran into a van drove off (next time I better get a picture with you Leighton!!)

Ok so…

I had an orientation meeting for school in the morning and my roommate, Krista, had hers after me so when she came back we left. We got on the train and went to the UES where we met up with Eileen (http://insatiable-thoughts.tumblr.com/ https://twitter.com/heyeileeen), her sister, and Xialen (https://twitter.com/xialenxoxo).

But before we met them Krista and I went to 80th (everyone else was on 82nd) and we saw Ed and Leighton’s trailer (yes, they shared one this time) and then we went to go meet everyone else (and they were talking to one of the people who works for the show that we met, and became friends with, when we saw them film by Madison Square Park). He left and then all of us decided to go to EL’s trailer. So we went there but no one was in it so we left and went to Blake and Penn’s tailer across the street.

After that we went to go watch them film and all we saw was

Serena and Dan (but we watched the stunt doubles) ride down the street on a vespa and paparazzi chase them (this reminds me of the thing in S1 when Serena said she loved vespas and everything but then Dan was like uh, I have this limo for us. I guess it’ll be some throwback to that)

Then they started to clean up and we went to go walk to another street but we walked through the filming stuff and we saw Norman and asked him if we could take a picture and he was SO nice and we took pictures with him and he told us the name of the episode (Where The Vile Things Are) and then after that he tweeted us back haha

But after we met Norman we went back to EL’s trailer then we found out that Blake and Penn (or just Blake, idk) were filming where we just were so we went but we couldn’t really see anything so Krista and I went to go get milkshakes and everyone else stayed and Blake said hi to Eileen and Xialen.

After we came back, I forget exactly what happened but sometime after that Krista and I ended up going to where Blake’s trailer was (but all the way down on the other end of the street) and we saw her leave.

Then we just kind of walked around (we did a lot of waiting today) and then eventually we saw Norman in a store and they were setting up to film and then later we saw a tweet that Leighton was on set so we went to her trailer and she was in there waiting for hair and makeup. And someone opened the door and we saw Lei on the phone and Trudy was running around. But then these dumb girls kept moving closer and closer to the trailer and then when Leighton came out the security guard took her to the other end of the street instead of past us (which he would have taken her that way if those stupid girls stayed back like they were supposed to.)

So we decided to go to where we saw them set up before and Krista and I saw Leighton and Penn film a scene and then a few minutes later the Eileen, her sister, and Xialen came (they waited at Lei’s trailer)

The scene was basically like this:

Dan and Blair looked like they were talking before

Penn stops and Blair is talking to him (she looked angry/upset)

Then he walks away and Blair gets out her phone

(I think it had something to do with what happened with Serena and the vespa from before)

Then we went back to the MET (we wanted to see what they were filming before we left) and we saw half of the limo in the street (they were filming either a Chuck and Blair scene or just a Chuck scene in the limo) and we also saw Ed (he was blocking)

So after that we saw Ed leave and we went back to their trailer (because we had to go that way to the subway anyway and we heard Ed was there) so we got to the corner and saw people taking pictures with Ed so we ran across the street but we were too late to get a picture with him but then we saw Leighton was getting out so (since everyone stayed back like they were supposed to) Leighton walked right past us and as she walked in front of me I looked at her and said “Hi Leighton!” and she looked back at me and said hi back! OMG! SHE’S GORGEOUS IN PERSON!!! She’s my idol and favorite actress and I can’t believe I was SOOOO close to her (I could literally touch her) and get to see her film! DREAM COME TRUE!!!

Oh, and somewhere in between meeting Norman and seeing Leighton, we stole three of those No Parking signs! There were two (street) signs that had two signs on them and Eileen, Xialen, and I each cut one off and took it. No on was there to see it and we were like “I wonder if they’ll come back and be like ‘Where the hell did these signs go?’”

So after that we just went back to the subway and went home. This was definitely another successful day of Gossip Girl stalking!

Blair is wearing a beautiful black and silver knee-length dress, according to Celia. Nellu Yuki is wearing a plain black dress. (x)
